For leotards and biketards, girth will give the best fit. For shorts, use waist and hips. The height and weight will only give approximate fit – we provide them in case you don't have good measurements and are making an educated guess.
It is always better to order 1 size larger if you are in doubt or between sizes, because gymnastics sizing runs small, and kids grow.

*Girth is the circumference of the torso. To measure, start a measuring tape at the top of the shoulder, go down the back, between the legs, and back up to the starting point at the top of the shoulder.
